The radical Muslim preacher chose not use english, his native tongue, for his propaganda message. Instead the American-born cleric dressed in Yemeni tribal gear and spoke in Arabic to call for the killing of American civilians and soldiers.
In a video produced by the media wing of al Qaeda, Anwar al-Awlaki praised his student, U.S. Army Major Nidal Hassan, accused of killing 13 people at Fort Hood last November, and described the shooting as an heroic and wonderful act, reports CBS News correspondent Lara Logan.

Al Qaeda cleric Anwar al Awlaki described both the Fort Hood Shooter and the Christmas Day bomber as his “students.” in a tape released this weekend, according to press reports.
This is not surprising - the evidence tying Awlaki to both terrorists has continued to mount. But Awlaki’s comments highlight, once again, the U.S. Intelligence Community’s many failures in investigating the al Qaeda cleric. The Obama administration should declassify as much information about Awlaki’s ties to these attacks (as well as previous ones) as possible, because American authorities have repeatedly failed to detect Awlaki’s hand until it was too late. The public has a right to see the evidentiary threads that were missed -- in particular, Awlaki’s emails with Major Nidal Malik Hasan.

DUBAI - A Saudi scholar who suggested women donate their breast milk to men in an attempt to get around the kingdom’s ban on the mixing of unrelated men and women has sparked controversy, UAE daily Gulf News reported on Sunday.Sheikh Abdul Mohsin al-Abaican, a consultant at the Saudi royal court, issued a fatwa stating there should be symbolic bond between unrelated men and women who regularly come into contact with each other, the newspaper said.Abaican said the act would make a man and woman relatives and therefore their coming into contact would not breach the kingdom’s strict Islamic laws, Gulf News said, citing local Arabic newspaper reports.Much of Saudi Arabia is governed by the conservative Wahhabi version of Islam, under which women are not allowed to go out without male guardians, unrelated men and women cannot mix, and women are not permitted to drive."The man should take the milk, but not directly from the breast of the woman," Abaican was quoted as saying."He should drink it and then becomes a relative of the family, a fact that allows him to come in contact with the women without breaking Islam's rules about mixing.”Abaican said the fatwa applied to men who lived in the same house or come into contact with women on a regular basis, except for drivers, according to the newspaper."The fatwa is only for those who live in the house or need to get in often," he was quoted as saying.Bloggers have slammed the fatwa, labelling it “totally unrelated to reality” and calling on scholars to focus on “much more significant issues”, Gulf News said.Three years ago an Egyptian scholar who attended Al-Azhar University, Sunni Islam's highest seat of learning, called for women to literally breastfeed men as a way of getting around the ban on mixing of the sexes, according to the newspaper. An Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula newsletter was the first to announce his death a week after the United States put terror sanctions on him. The newsletter did not say when it happened but said Al-Qahtani died in Yemen's Abyan province in the south of the country.

The King of Saudi Arabia has strongly criticized the country's intelligence officials for disclosing a secret document, which shows Riyadh has links with terrorist activities carried out by al-Qaeda in Iraq. According to a report by Iraq's Buratha news agency on Friday, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz ordered a special committee to investigate the intelligence leak and inform him about those liable in the case. Some 37 members of Saudi's intelligence service, accused of being behind the leakage of the confidential document, were also reported to have been arrested. The condemnation by the Saudi monarch comes as the Iraqi news agency disclosed the amount of money transferred by Saudi government officials to al-Qaeda in Iraq. Saudi officials are also reported to send explosives and weapons to the terrorist groups. Meanwhile, Secretary General of the Saudi National Security Council Prince Bandar Bin Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz is said to be the main guilty behind the case. The report came as earlier last week, Saudi army officer Abdullah al-Qahtani was arrested in Iraq over charges of planning a terrorist attack during the upcoming FIFA World Cup in South Africa. The recent performance—-that’s the only thing you can call it—-of Attorney General Eric Holder before a Senate committee set me thinking. How was it that the AG could not or would not connect the dots between the Fort Hood murders, the Christmas Day bomber, and the failed Times Square bomber? With stunning obtuseness, he professed he could not find any Islamic connection despite, of course, all three being Muslims and all three having communicated with or trained with Islamic terrorist groups.

Some Muslims, including the government of Pakistan , however, don’t have a problem with vocabulary. They object to even the suggestion of an idea having to do with treating Islam exactly the same way every other religion is treated in free societies, namely subject to satire. So Pakistan has shut down Facebook, YouTube and other internet sites in the name of protecting their people’s sensitive eyes from “sacrilegious” content.

A senior member of al-Qaeda who was arrested in Iraq two weeks ago was planning a terrorist attack during the World Cup in South Africa, security forces said. Abdullah Azzam Saleh Misfar al-Qahtani, 30, from Saudi Arabia, is said to have been in contact with Ayman al-Zawahiri, Osama bin Laden’s deputy. Al-Qaeda said earler this year that it hoped that “hundreds” of spectators would be killed in an explosion during England’s match against the USA in Rustenburg on June 12. The group has been blamed for a series of attacks across Northern Africa and claimed responsibility for the murder of Edwin Dyer, 61, a British tourist held hostage in Mali in May last year.

A Brooklyn man charged with swearing allegiance to al Qaeda pleaded not guilty in a Manhattan courtroom Monday.
Prosecutors said Sabirhan Hasanoff traveled to Iraq and other Mideast countries to try to help the terror organization and to try to wage violent jihad.
"He performed real and tangible work on behalf of the (terror) group," said assistant U.S. attorney John Cronan. He added that Hasanoff received "specific assignments" from al Qaeda operatives.
Hasanoff was arrested last month, along with Wesam El-Hanafi, in Dubai and they were sent back to the U.S. for trial. Magistrate Judge James Francis ordered Hasanoff held behind bars without bail citing risk of flight and danger to the community.

A Muslim student at the University of California at San Diego last week endorsed a new genocide of Jews. Although one can only imagine the media hue and cry had a conservative student said this, the liberal media has not found Jumanah Imad Albahri’s statement fit to print. However, the UC-San Diego chapter of the Muslim Student Association did feel it necessary to issue a “clarification,” which only muddied the waters further and raised questions about the prevalence of Islamic anti-Semitism and supremacism among Muslims in the United States.
