MUSLIMS BAN BODY SCANNERS - HOW IRONIC

February 11, 2010 - Saying that body scanners violate Islamic law, Muslim-American groups are supporting a “fatwa” – a religious ruling – that forbids Muslims from going through the scanners at airports. The Fiqh Council of North America – a body of Islamic scholars that includes some from Michigan – issued a fatwa this week that says going through the airport scanners would violate Islamic rules on modesty. “It is a violation of clear Islamic teachings that men or women be seen naked by other men and women,” reads the fatwa issued Tuesday. “Islam highly emphasizes haya (modesty) and considers it part of faith. The Quran has commanded the believers, both men and women, to cover their private parts.” The decision could complicate efforts to intensify screening of potential terrorists who are Muslim. Four others from the same group of Guantanamo inmates handed over to the Saudis in November 2007 are among more than a dozen inmates who have returned to terrorism, including one who was shot dead while wearing a suicide vest under a burka last year. But senior officials including an Interior Ministry general and the cleric and psychologists responsible for overseeing the programme's "religious re-indoctrination" courses told The Daily Telegraph it had been an overall success. February 11, 2010 - The Appeals Court on Monday ratified the verdict issued by the summary court in Jeddah against the Saudi sex bragger, Mazen Abdul Jawad, and three of his friends.  According to the Saudi daily Arab News, the summary court had sentenced Jawad to five years in jail after boasting about his sex life on television.  He was also ordered to receive 1,000 lashes after his appearance of the LBC show Bold Red Line last July, and had appealed the convictions handed down by a criminal court on Sharia law-based charges relating to immoral behaviour. MOROCCAN FORCES RAID CHRISTIAN BIBLE STUDY

February 11, 2010 - Despite being one of the more Westernized Muslim nations, Morocco demonstrated the Islamic belief that 'freedom of religion' does not mean 'freedom to choose one's religion'.  A large, military-led team of Moroccan authorities raided a Bible study in a small city southeast of Marrakech last week, arresting 18 Moroccans and deporting a U.S. citizen, area Christian leaders said.  Approximately 60 officers from the Moroccan security services on Thursday afternoon (Feb. 4) raided the home of a Christian in Amizmiz, a picturesque city of 10,000 mainly Berber people 56 kilometers (35 miles) southeast of Marrakech. A church Bible study was in progress at the home with visitors from western and southern Morocco, the leaders said. Five of the 18 people held for 14 hours were small children, two of them infants no more than 6 months old. The other small children ranged from 20 months to 4 years old, and also detained was the visiting 16-year-old nephew of one of the participants.  The Christian leaders said authorities interrogated participants in the Bible study for 14 hours. The authorities filmed the interrogations with digital video cameras and cell phones. The leader of the Christian group, who requested anonymity for security reasons, said the raiding party was unusually large. February 11, 2010 - Early on Saturday morning approximately 1,000 Muslim taxi drivers from Oslo and Akershus parked their vehicles in protest, causing traffic chaos in the centre, protesting a news agency's decision to re-print cartoons showing Muhammad in an unflattering light.  "It’s an abuse of our freedom of speech. February 8, 2010 - How far will Islam's push for religious freedom go?  A Muslim bus driver in London stunned passengers by pulling over mid-route and beginning to pray in the aisle. The driver stopped the bus without warning before removing his shoes and, using a fluorescent jacket as a prayer mat, beginning to chant in Arabic.  Passengers said they feared the driver could be preparing for a terror attack. The views of Rizwan Ditta and Bilal Mohammed, two young Muslims born and brought up in Halifax, West Yorkshire, will be anathema to the vast majority of the British people including many British Muslims. Ditta claims: "You can go to any [Muslim] youth on the street and say, 'Do you believe in Jihad?' and he'll say 'Yes'. 'Do you believe that al-Qaeda is a terrorist movement?' He'll say, 'No'." UK TEACHER FIRED FOR NOT TOLERATING '9/11 HEROES' TALK

February 8, 2010 -  A British teacher was fired from his job after complaining that some of his Muslim students were celebrating the Sept. 11 hijackers as "heroes," the Daily Mail reported. Nicholas Kafouris, 40, who taught at East London's Bigland Green Primary School for 12 years, is suing the school for racial discrimination after he was allegedly forced from his post because he would not tolerate the remarks of his students. Kafouris claims members of his class, some as young as eight years old, openly praised Islamic extremists in his classroom, hailing the terrorists behind the attacks of Sept. 11 as "martyrs," the Daily Mail reported. Kafouris alleges the students told him they "want to be Islamic bombers when we grow up," and "the Christians and Jews are our enemies, you too because you're a Christian," according to the Daily Mail. The 465-student school is predominantly comprised of ethnic minorities with a majority of students from Muslim families. ISLAMIC TERRORISTS KIDNAP 2 AMERICANS IN IRAQ

February 7, 2010 - Unfortunately, radical Islamists are up to their old kidnapping tricks again, which does not bode well for the stability of Iraq or the safety of our military personnel and private contractors.  The League of the Righteous (as these criminals call themselves) has already released a video of one of the men, an Iraqi-American named as Issa Salomi, a civilian employed by the Pentagon.  Mr Salomi went missing on January 23. The identity of the second hostage has not been made clear, but it is thought it could be another Iraqi-American, an army sergeant who disappeared while on an unauthorised visit to his family in 2006.  The group is an offshoot of the Shia Sadrist militia which has periodically fought American and British forces in Iraq but is currently supposed to be in talks with the government.  Please say a prayer for the safety of these men.  Click below for story.

MUSLIM FAMILY BURIES 16-YR-OLD ALIVE FOR HAVING MALE FRIENDS

February 4, 2010 - Grounding or taking away phone privileges were just not enough for this Muslim family in Turkey.  Instead, they buried their daughter alive.  A 16-year-old girl was buried alive by relatives in southeastern Turkey in a gruesome honor killing carried out because she reportedly befriended boys, the Anatolia news agency reported Thursday. Acting on a tip, police discovered the body of the girl, identified only as M.M., in a sitting position with her hands tied, in a 2-meter-deep hole dug under a chicken pen outside her house in Kahta, a town in the southeastern province of Adıyaman, the news agency reported. The body was found in December, around 40 days after M.M. went missing. She is being identified by her initials because she was under the age of 18. Her father and grandfather are suspected in the murder. A subsequent postmortem examination revealed that M.M. had a significant amount of soil in her lungs and stomach, indicating that she was buried alive and conscious, forensic experts told the news agency. February 3, 2010 - What could go wrong?  The Coast Guard said yesterday that it will allow tankers carrying liquefied natural gas from Yemen into Boston Harbor despite concerns about the cargo coming from a country that has been called a haven for terrorists.The decision, which means LNG ships could begin arriving in Everett later this month, drew immediate condemnation from Mayor Thomas M. Menino, a longtime critic of allowing LNG shipments through the harbor. He accused the Coast Guard of putting profits ahead of people. "They’re saying they will be as safe as any other LNG ship," Menino said, but "I say they’ll be as unsafe as any other LNG ship." Opponents of the plan worry that terrorists could board the ships as stowaways and potentially ignite the flammable gas, though the company importing the LNG, Distrigas of Massachusetts, disputes the risk.  Click below for story.

February 3, 2010 - Yet another bombing has killed innocent Muslims on pilgrimage, dying at the hands of their own fellow Muslims.  A suicide attacker driving a minibus on Wednesday ploughed into a crowd of Shiite pilgrims in central Iraq, killing 20, in the second deadly assault on devotees this week. The bomber struck pilgrims walking on foot on the outskirts of the shrine city of Karbala, 110 kilometres (68 miles) south of Baghdad, where Shiites are massing to observe Arbaeen rituals. The attack also left 117 people wounded. Arbaeen marks 40 days after the Ashura anniversary commemorating the slaying of one of Shiite Islam's most revered figures, Imam Hussein, by the armies of the Sunni caliph Yazid in 680 AD. A senior health official in Karbala who gave the toll said at least one woman and three children were among the dead. The wounded are being treated at two hospitals in the city. February 3, 2010 - Thank heaven sanity has prevailed!  Despite the circus atmosphere Aafiya Siddiqui created in her civilian trial and her constant outbursts, theatrics and racist comments, the woman dubbed "Lady Al Qaeda" was convicted Wednesday of attempted murder for shooting at Americans in Afghanistan - and she reacted in typical fashion. "This is a verdict coming from Israel not America," Siddiqui exclaimed, raising one hand and pointing up before being led out of the Manhattan courtroom. "That's where the anger belongs. I can testify to this. And I have proof." The outburst was hardly shocking; Siddiqui disrupted her own trial several times with bizarre statement and demands to take the stand in her own defense. Despite her insistence she never grabbed an Army rifle and opened fire on her U.S. interrogators, a federal jury found her guilty of attempted murder and six other counts. February 3, 2010 - The heads of several intelligence agencies met before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday to discuss matters of national security. When asked how sure he was regarding an imminent attack against the U.S. in the next three to six months, National Intelligence Director Dennis Blair uttered he was "certain". Blair was accompanied by CIA Director Leon Panetta and FBI Director Robert Mueller. Each of the directors agreed with Blair's comment; the liklihood of another terrorist attack was most definitely "certain". This comes just weeks after the failed Christmas day attack on a Detroit-bound airliner. February 1, 2010 - Britain is facing a new Al Qaeda terror threat from suicide 'body bombers' with explosives surgically inserted inside them.  Until now, terrorists have attacked airlines, Underground trains and buses by secreting bombs in bags, shoes or underwear to avoid detection. But an operation by MI5 has uncovered evidence that Al Qaeda is planning a new stage in its terror campaign by inserting 'surgical bombs' inside people for the first time. Security services believe the move has been prompted by the recent introduction at airports of body scanners, which are designed to catch terrorists before they board flights. It is understood MI5 became aware of the threat after observing increasingly vocal internet 'chatter' on Arab websites this year. Experts said the explosive PETN (Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate) would be placed in a plastic sachet inside the bomber’s body before the wound was stitched up like a normal operation incision and allowed to heal. A shaped charge of 8oz of PETN can penetrate five inches of armour and would easily blow a large hole in an airliner. Security sources said the explosives would be detonated by the bomber using a hypodermic syringe to inject TATP (Triacetone Triperoxide) through their skin into the explosives sachet. February 1, 2010 - It's the religion of peace, or so they tell us.  Try telling that to the 54 innocent Muslim men, women and children who were blown to pieces by an Islamic female suicide bomber while on their religious pilgrimage. The bomber hid the explosives beneath an abaya -- a woman's black cloak worn from head to toe -- as she joined a group of pilgrims on the outskirts of Baghdad's Shiite-dominated neighborhood of Shaab, said Maj. Gen. Qassim al-Moussawi, Baghdad's top military spokesman. The bomber set off the blast, described as a huge fireball, as she lined up with other women to be searched by female security guards at a checkpoint just inside a rest tent serving sherbet and tea. A police official said 54 people, including 18 women and 12 children, were killed and 117 were wounded. February 1, 2010 - CAIR, the Council for American-Islamic Relations, bills itself in the U.S. as a civil liberties group seeking to protect the rights of Muslims in America, coming to the rescue anytime anyone tries to speak honestly about Islamic terrorism and being quick to throw out the "Islamophobe" card.  However, despite this claim, CAIR was founded by those with ties to radical Islamism, supports terrorist groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah, and receives significant foreign money support from Middle Eastern countries.  So, it comes as no surprise that this supposed non-profit organization has failed to disclose its financial records as required and is now delinquent for its 2007 and 2008 income tax returns.  What is CAIR afraid to disclose?  Click below for story.

OBAMA'S MISTAKE OF TREATING TERRORISTS AS CIVILIANS

February 1, 2010 - In the war on terrorism, this country faces an enemy whose theory of warfare ends the hard-won distinction in modern thought between combatant and noncombatant. We got it wrong in Detroit on Christmas Day. We allowed an enemy combatant the protections of our Constitution before we had adequately interrogated him. Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab is not "an isolated extremist." He is the tip of the spear of a complex al-Qaeda plot to kill Americans in our homeland. In the 50 minutes the FBI had to question him, agents reportedly got actionable intelligence. Good. But were there any experts on al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula in the room (other than Abdulmutallab)? Was there anyone intimately familiar with any National Security Agency raw traffic to, from or about the captured terrorist? Did they have a list or photos of suspected recruits? None of that happened in Detroit. In fact, we ensured that it wouldn't. After the first session, the FBI Mirandized Abdulmutallab and -- to preserve a potential prosecution -- sent in a "clean team" of agents who could have no knowledge of what Abdulmutallab had provided before he was given his constitutional warnings.
