January 20, 2010 - In a bit of bright news, 17-year-old Rifqa Bary, who has been held for months in virtual solitary confinement in a juvie detention facility in Ohio,is victorious. Seeking to be free of her Muslim parents from whom she feared retribution for her conversion to Christianity, the courts determined that she will be allowed to remain in juvie until she turns 18 in August 2010, at which time she will be free to determine where she wants to live.
